Aged Care Home Care Package recipients
Living at home in your own space and environment is the preferred option for most people getting older, even for those with more complex care needs. The Australian Government agrees, and has developed an individualised funding support program called Home Care Packages (HCP) to assist you to stay at home independently. We are proud to hold service agreements with many Home Care Package Providers to deliver Physiotherapy Services.
Our well established Physio team are experts in community Aged Care, it’s all we do, and we pride ourselves on working hard for people who want to live independently.
There are 4 levels of Home Care Packages – Level 1 for basic care needs to level 4 for high support requirements.
The support includes services to assist with day to day tasks like showering, dressing and cleaning; community support like shopping and transport, and health care including Nursing care, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy. It also includes items to make living at home safer, for example mobility aids and safety appliances. In most cases, approved providers work with recipients to plan, organise and deliver Home Care Packages.
