Our clinicians understand that you want to be as mobile and independent as possible, so you can enjoy your family, friends and life! That is the essence of a good life.

Our approach is to treat the whole person and we work with other health professionals involved in your care to achieve optimal independence. This is called interdisciplinary care. We are experts in recognising when you might need other healthcare or daily living support and we can point you in the right direction to help meet your needs.

For example, if you or your relative is prone to falls, whilst we may see you for exercise-based Physio to build upon balance and strength. However, we can also talk to you about what else might be available to keep you safe at home and how to access these services, such as a Personal Aged Care Alarm Pendant or other supports.

A full range of customised, one-to-one mobile Physiotherapy services is available. Please contact our office to discuss your needs if not listed below, we are here to help!

Melbourne In Home Physiotherapy

Home visit Physio Rehabilitation following a hospital stay. We provide an alternative for people who want to go directly home from hospital instead of an inpatient rehabilitation centre.

In the case of a Total Hip Replacement or Total Knee Replacement, some people are suited to go directly home instead of rehabilitation after these operations. If you have good support from family or friends, and were reasonably fit and mobile before your operation, going directly is usually preferable to Rehabilitation.

We provide support for

  • Home Physiotherapy for falls, fear of falling and balance problems.

  • Fracture Rehabilitation (Broken bones)

  • Problems associated with arthritis and muscular aches and pains.

  • Respiratory conditions (COPD, Chest Physiotherapy)

  • Walking assessments and re-education

  • Home safety assessments (see Home Safety Assessment)

  • Walking aid prescription review (Walkers, Crutches, Canes and Wheelchairs)

  • Adjunct physio to hospital and health centre Pulmonary and Cardiac Rehab programs

  • General strength programs for older people - improve your strength, mobility and balance

  • Professional advice and back care education to carers
